Speed PPC Review - Should I Buy Speed PPC, an Honest Opinion!

July 26, 2007 – 4:59 am

As you have seen from a few emails you have more then likely received over the past few days, a new PPC tool is being promoted called “Speed PPC“.Well I had the opportunity to check this product out and test it and here is a honest breakdown of what I think.

1. The tool does what they say. It saves you a massive amount of time by helping you create loads of PPC campaigns.

2. The system has a neat datafeed system (you need to be able to set it up on your own server which is complicated for some) but it is a really slick way to create targetted ads. It is almost like a Directory Generator for AdWords.

3. It is set up to help set up tracking for how each ad is doing.

4. The training is very minimal. This is actually in my opinion the downfall. Although the training for using the software and such is great this leaves in my honest opinion a huge area for people to lose a lot of money quickly. If you have no experience with PPC marketing and start using this software you could lose lots of money very, very quickly. In fact in the Q&A area of the site they mention that this is not for those who are new to PPC.

If however you are very experienced with PPC marketing then yes it is definitely a good buy.

Overall…

1. Price - $497 (3 out of 5) I would give this more if they had in depth training for using AdWords but for just the software this is very expensive. They say it is a system not just a software but bottom line all software have systems (IMHO).

2. Software - (5 out of 5) It does exactly what they tell you it does.

3. Training - (3 out of 5) The training for using the software is awesome but for this type of tool and the price i think they need to go above and beyond.

4. Money Back Guarantee - (3 out of 5) For this price you should have at least a 60 day but I prefer a 90 day… but atleast they have a money back guarantee :)

So I give it a 3.5 out of 5

Summary - if you are new to ppc or can not afford this, then stay away from this… it is extremely powerful but not for newbies or those who can not afford to spend money up front. You will be spending lots of money on AdWords testing it out and it could break you before you see any profits. If however you can afford this and understand PPC marketing then yes pick it up.. the time it saves is more then worth it.

Click Here to check it out for yourself!

Thats my honest opinion…

Update by Jay Stockwell at Speed PPC…

1) Losing money.

Users are no more likely to lose money than they normally would. This system really just segments out their existing campaigns in many ad groups. Budgets are always set at the campaign level, so it’s going to be no worse than normal.

In fact, because they are segmenting their campaign so much they are better able to control and see which parts of the campaign are costing them money. It’s all good!

2) No AdWords training.

This is true and we state that clearly on both the sales letter and the FAQ’s.

This tool is focused on people who already know how to do PPC. We have no intention of teaching people how to do PPC. There are enough folks out there doing a great job of this. We want to spend time improving the system and catering for the more experienced folks.

We do have plenty of training on how to use the system including a 72 page manual, a 27 page manual, 10 page manual, training video’s, a knowledgebase and regular blog training posts.

If you’re a newbie, we recommend that you at least get some profitable campaigns going. If you are at that level and looking for a way to dramatically scale and improve your campaigns, SpeedPPC is for you.

I hope that clarify’s things.

Kind Regards

Jay Stockwell
